Daisy Troop Clean Up - November 13, 2010
On Saturday, November 13, 2010, Daisy Troop first grade 4321 out of Meadowbrook School cleaned up the trails around the Sapienza Gardens. These photos show some of the things they found during the cleanup such as car parts, desks and broken tables.
 
Fall Festival - October 24, 2010
The Sapienza Gardens held it's Fall Festival, featuring the First Annual Pie Baking and Scarecrow Contests, on October 24, 2010.

The Sapienza Gardens held it's first annual Klondike Gold Rush on April 18, 2010.

The Sapienza Gardens held it's first Clean Up Day of the season on April 13, 2010.
   

2009

Clean Up Days - Fall 2009
The fall clean up days were held after school from 3pm to 5pm on September 15, September 17, and October 20 2009. Many students from Pascack Valley High School; including the Just About Caring (JAC) Club and the Environmental Club, the Girl Scouts, and residents from the community came out to help.
 
Grand Opening - April 25, 2009
Locals young and old gathered at Sapienza Gardens in Hillsdale for the garden’s grand opening on April 25. Members of the Trustee group that organized the cleanup of the woods and planting of thousands of daffodils and dozens of trees were on hand to tell residents about the plans for the memorial garden, which include a children’s learning garden and a reading garden.
 
Clean Up Day - April 6, 2009
This clean-up day was held in preparation for the Grand Opening on April 25, 2009.
   

2008

Planting Daffodils - November 8, 2008
Volunteers from the Hillsdale and River Vale communities came out to plant 20,000 daffodils bulbs donated by Virginia Korteweg.
 
Clean Up Day - May 17, 2008
This was the initial cleanup day for the Hillsdale and River Vale communities.
